Frequently Asked Questions

Are you Insured and Bonded?
Yes.  Clean Tech Maid Service, Inc. is fully insured and all employees are bonded.  We are happy to provide you with our certificate of insurance if you desire.  Just request it and you shall receive.

How long will the technicians be in my home or office cleaning?
The time spent cleaning your home is dependent upon the size of your home and other variables as well as the services requested.  We will provide you with an estimate of approximate labor hours.  For example, if you hire us for recurring services and we clean for you on a bi-weekly frequency… your property may be scheduled for 4 hours.  If that is the case then our technicians (usually 2 techs; not always, but usually – depends) would be physically at your home for approximately 2 hours.  Each technician carries a labor hour.

Will I have the same technician(s) cleaning my home or office every time?
We do try to send the same technicians or at least a supervisor or crew leader that is familiar with your property each time.  There are times though where this may not be possible due to techs being off on vacation or sick, etc.  No fear though… we have a computerized scheduling and work order system that allows us to send the details of your cleaning (scope of work) with whoever will be cleaning for you.  This provides them with all details regarding your home or office.

What types of cleaning products will you be using in my home?
All of our products are safe for you, your children, pets and the environment.  We purchase some of our supplies from industry leading supply vendors and others are just regular house cleaning products that work and work well!

How do I pay?
Residential Accounts:  We require a valid credit or debit card to be on file prior to your first cleaning.  All initial and or first cleans are billed to that card provided after services are performed.  If you choose to hire us on a recurring or any type of occasional basis, you are welcome to leave a check for the technicians to pick up on the day of cleaning or we can simply bill your card each time.  We accept personal checks, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover.

Commercial Accounts: We typically invoice our commercial clients on a semi-monthly basis. If you are cleaned daily you may be invoiced weekly. For semi-monthly billed accounts, you will generally receive an invoice covering the 1st through the 15th within 3-5 business days following the 15th.

You will receive another invoice covering the 16th through the end of the month within 3-5 business days following the end of the month. Our payment terms are Net 7 to be paid by company check. Commercial accounts that choose to pay by credit card will incur a 3% credit card processing fee for each charge.

How will you enter my home?
How we enter your home is entirely up to you. You may choose for us to enter through key, code, or an open door or be home to let us in.

What if I need to cancel?
If for any reason you need to cancel or change your scheduled cleaning day or time, please contact our office as soon as possible. For non-emergency cancellations and changes, we respectfully request a minimum of 48 business hours advance notice. More if you can. We have a very large client base and our scheduling is done in advance so last minute cancellations have a large negative impact on our company as well as our technicians. For advance scheduling changes feel free to e-mail mmoore@cleantech1.com, but for last minute cancellations please call our office number at (815) 467-4965 and leave a voice mail if it is after hours. The techs that come in early to do set up for the day will need to be aware of your cancellation first thing because the entire schedule will need to be revised and it also changes equipment set up for the day, etc. We ask that you please try to avoid last minute cancellations whenever possible. We do have a cancellation/lock out fee/policy, but we rarely institute it as most of our clients give adequate advance notice. We understand emergencies happen so we do whatever we can to work with our clients.
